“ What a great place in Lagos. Honestly we were sceptical when our hotel suggested this place for us, given prior reviews — however, this ended up being one of the BEST meals of our entire trip. Everything was very fresh (awesome fish!), very friendly service, great wine and all around would recommend. ”
“ Awesome restaurant!! The food was amazing, my husband had the John Dory fish, he said it was the best fish he has ever had in his life and I had the steak with mushroom sauce, delicious!! Caetano our waiter was friendly and professional so was Antonio. We met the chef Antonio and he was so kind. Great location accross from the ocean in the square. The wine was excellent and a good price. Highly recommend!! ”
“ Everything was very good. Seafood and fish was fresh and tasty, steak was delicious, wine was excellent, service was friendly and top notch. We all had a wonderful time. Since I gave a similar place in Lisbon 5 stars, I had to score this place high too because although the crab filling was not as good as the one in Lisbon (too much mayo), the gooseneck barnacles were far better here. It evens out. It was the best spot we've found in town for this kind of seafood fix. ”
“ If you’re in Lagos and love seafood, 2 Irmãos is an absolute must. This local favorite serves up incredibly fresh, flavorful dishes—from picking your own crab/seafood and snagging some red snapper to seafood rice—in a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The staff are super friendly, the portions are generous, and everything feels authentically Portuguese. Skip the tourist traps—this is where you want to eat. Portions are phenomenal, do not skip this place! ”
“ We dined here last night and were served by Catano, who provided excellent service throughout. It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience, especially sitting out on the terrace with a view of the yachts racing just off the coast. To start, we ordered what can only be described as barnacles that resemble dinosaur claws—apparently a local delicacy. While their appearance was unusual and slightly off-putting, they turned out to be absolutely delicious. I truly enjoyed the entire dining experience and would highly recommend it. — G.B. ”
